Established Since 1981, JAYBEE Group of Industries, is dedicated to the service of the power sector in India dealing in Manufacturing, Exporting & Supplying of distribution transformer, single phase distribution transformer, three phase distribution transformer, & power transformers. Jaybee is also involved in complete erection & testing substations as turnkey projects with credibility & experience over the past two decades owing to adherence to international Quality norms and customer services. JAYBEE has an excellent Brand image and all its manufacturing facilities across India are ISO 9001 certified.

With the presence of state-of-the-art manufacturing facilities / plants in different states of India JAYBEE Group of Industries produces a vide range of products. All the Industry Parks (Workshops) are equipped with world-class level advanced processing equipments & machines. Out of the total workforce of 200 employees, 10 percent are engineers and technicians who have graduated from either a high academy or are experienced workers from household electric companies, with strong capabilities in design, research & development & with an inspiring zeal for hard work & success.

The company has technical collaboration with South African Transformers Manufacturers, Johannesburg, for the manufacturing of some specialized Transformers for exports to South African Countries as per South African Bureau of Standards (SABS).

REPAIR JOBS OF REPAIRING TOTAL / PARTIAL LIMBS OF TRANSFORMERS:

Jaybee Group of Industries undertakes the Specialized Jobs of repairing the Burnt Transformers. Full Transformer can be repaired by changing all the Coils, Insulation & Transformer Oil at about 70 % Cost of a new Transformer. JAYBEE offers the same Guarantee for a fully repaired Transformer as is being offered for the new Transformers

RENOVATION / REFURBISHING OF OLD TRANSFORMERS FOR POWER FACTOR & MDI MANAGEMENT:

Many of the Transformers do not give proper results in the terms of MDI, POWER FACTOR MANAGEMENT & etc. These Transformers can be redesigned for improving the efficiency and Performance figures by marginally derating the KVA rating/capacity of the Transformers if at all is needed by the customer.

TURN KEY PROJECTS:

Jaybee provides complete project solution of electrical turnkey projects. We are specialised in electrical engineering turnkey project. We maintain a team of licensed, experienced technicians and engineers that can work and supervise the project from beginning till end. The electrical turnkey projects at Jaybee include designing, engineering, supervision, planning, and all other things that can bring out products of best quality and performance. We also remove all risk factor through risk assessment method before the final delivery.

ANNUAL MAINTENANCE CONTRACTS

Annual Maintenance Contract is meticulously designed towards minimizing operational cost and downtime of Transformers by professional implementation of a periodic maintenance plan. This helps in proper maintenance of equipment at minimal cost.

The servicing is carried out at site by skilled and trained representative who attend to Power Equipment, suggest timely remedial measures and recommend suitable spare parts to be procured. We also offer customized Periodic Maintenance Plans or Comprehensive Maintenance Contracts specifically designed as per customers' requirement. Major Benefit of opting for an Annual Maintenance Contract with Jaybee Group is that the customer gets a standby Transformer for immediate use at his site within 24 Hours of Damaged Reported.

QUALITY ASSURANCE PLAN

RAW MATERIALS:

Raw Materials are procured only from approved quality vendors after rigorous inspection at the Vendors' Works or on receipt at our end:

DURING PROCESS:

DESIGN:

Design of transformers is done by computer aided methods on our in house developed Computer Softwares. Drawings are generated through AUTOCAD. While designing a transformer, following activities are taken into account:

1. Windings are designed in line with the requirement of maximum flux density, and no load loss, load loss, impedance and other technical parameters.

2. Core Material and Core frame is designed in line with the requirement of maximum flux density and no load loss. Grade of core being decided on the basis of no load loss and magnetization current.

3. Tank body and radiators are designed in line with the requirement of internal clearances and permissible maximum temperature rise.

4. Fitting and Accessories are designed in line with the requirement of specification.

5. While designing, requirements as per standards like BS-171, IEC-76 or BIS-2026 SANS-780 are taken into consideration.

PRODUCTION:

Primary & Secondary Coils:

Coils are made on winding machines with automatic layer setting and are wound on accurate formers. Insulating Kraft paper, epoxy dotted paper or Nomex and Glass Insulation are used as inter layer insulation. All coils are pre-compressed for necessary shrinkage and suitably impregnated under vacuum prior to taking them for assembly.

Core Assembly:

Only Prime grade CRGO with Mills Test Certificate in coils or Sheets is procured and then slit, cut and annealed to proper size as per design. The grade of CRGO Lamination being decided on the basis of no load loss requirement. Amorphous Core is used for ultra low losses .These laminations are designed cut in such a fashion that there is no air gap between the joints of the two consecutive sheets.

Coil Assembly:

Coil Assembly is done keeping proper check on the Gaps to ensure long life by avoiding high voltage flash over. All joints at Coil Terminations are made with the latest soldering / brazing and crimping technology for resistance free joints.

Tank Fabrication:

The tanks are fabricated from MS sheets, angles, plates, channels, pipes. These materials are cut to size as per design and then electrically welded (either MIG or ARC) to form the tank. Electrical tube radiators are manufactured out of PSR Fins, Elliptical Tubes or corrugated wall panel radiators for heat efficient dissipation for long life of the transformer.

The Radiators and Tanks are thoroughly tested by modern methods to ensure there is no leakage of transformer oil even at elevated temperatures after long operating hours.

Painting & Finishing:

1. Prior to painting, each tank is sand/shot blasted or chemically cleaned by seven tank process to remove any oil/grease and rust scales from the tank body and welded joints.

2. Thereafter the tank bodies are subject to phosphating or hot dip zinc galvanizing in accordance with Standards as per Customers' requirements.

3. Finally two coats of finish paint as per Customers' requirement are applied.

4. The inside of the tank body is cleaned and a coat of hot oil proof zinc enriched primer or oil resistant varnish is applied. Each transformer is subjected to check for verification of fittings and accessories as per customers' specification and approved drawing and then the transformers are subjected to an air pressure test of 0.35 Kg/Cm2. to check any leakage and seepage.

TEST AND INSPECTION:

All Raw materials are subjected to all the necessary inspection procedures and tests. During the manufacturing processes rigorous inspection is carried out at each and every stage to ensure that the material conforms to the required standards and quality.

Finished products are tested and inspected by Q.A. Department as per governing specification and relevant standards.

1. Only calibrated instruments and meters are used during test.

2. Finished products upon satisfactory test and inspection are released by Q.A. department by putting a sticker marked “Tested O.K. and sent to packing department

Handling:

EOT crane, Mobile Cranes and Hydraulic Trolleys are used for material handling to ensure that the product is handled in the most careful manner with the least amount of jerks.

Packing:

Each transformer is individually packed with wooden crates suitable for sea worthy packing after bolting the channels of the transformer on a strong wooden platform. Prior to stuffing in the wooden box, each transformer is covered with high density polythene sheet and tied with tapes. Silicagel bags are also used to keep the interior of the box moisture free. Packing is done in our premises.
